slide that has a high density of submicron "point source"
scattering entities on the surface.
This slide is a useful tool
for the optimization and evaluation of user optical systems. The
intense color from the individual point sources is a stable and
reproducible spectral source for comparing lenses, cameras, and
other optical components.
