Seashell Technology is seeking a talented, motivated, and creative scientist with expertise in Polymer Science and Coatings Technology. The position will support coating/paint formulation and development activities of novel multi-functional coatings for a broad range of commercial applications.

Job Qualifications:

The candidate should have an advanced degree in materials science, polymer science, chemistry, or related field and have 5-10 years of relevant research experience in coatings development. Specific knowledge in the technical aspects of coating formulation, product development, performance characterization, and application is preferred.

Specific experiences in the following areas are important:

Polymer/organic synthesis
Polymer functionality
Resin synthesis
Coating formulation
Curing process
Polymeric adhesives chemistry
Two-component based paint formulations (polyurethane and epoxy)
Additives for coatings
Nanomaterial fabrication and characterization
